Saturday morning was great, Mum, Dad and I all drove to Moulton College and had a great time looking around before I had my interview. My references were brilliant according to the lady who interviewed me and I may well be able to go onto a higher level but that will depend on my exams results. What is even better, I can take one of the horses with me if I want and if we move I can stay at the college.
Oh, I was accepted!!!!! Wooohoooooo
Joe was accepted for sixth form too and he got a good report so that was another great thing in our life. Well done Joe!
Not only should I get my course qualifications, I should also get three A levels and several work based qualifications including basic veterinary medicine and first aid so it sounds like it will be fun. The only bad bit is there are no half terms as such, if you are behind in your work you carry on, they are called catch up weeks.
Mum and Daddy then went to Wales to see friends, I think that they both had a great time and came home stuffed full of Pati’s wonderful food. They both came home on Sunday night and were shattered but happy.
Something really upset Daddy so he didn’t say a great deal on Monday; maybe it was because Mum had surgery. She came home later that day shattered. I cooked and made sure everything was sorted out for the oldies. Love ya Mummy, love ya Daddy!!!
Tuesday I had a controlled assessment at school and the day went ok. We had to have the farrier out to look at one of the horses, but his foot was ok in the end. Thank you Houston. Daddy still very quiet. At least I know why now. In fact spoke to Mum about how we can help, think she may have told Daddy.
Daddy has had about five mini fits this week, Mum is trying to get him back to the doctors, maybe if we can sort out his tablets his health will get better. Love you Daddy soooooo much and wish I could wave a magic wand. Promise when we move everything will be loads better for you and the charity.
School has been really busy all week, assessments and loads of things to do but on Friday we all dressed up for Comic Relief Day, me in glasses looking like a secretary.
Friday night I went out with Mum, Julie and Lou and we really had a giggle. Daddy told me that I looked great so that was nice. He seemed to have perked up by the end of the week but know how much he was looking forward to the shire horse show on Saturday.
Yesterday morning Mum packed enough food to feed the entire show and we set off to Peterborough. We met Lou, Houston, Mike, Jane, Alison and Nobby and all had a great day. Meg, a friend of mine, and who also works for Mike and Alison, came third in the best implements class; well done Meg.
We all ate loads of food and came home totally shattered but I think that we all had a great day. Daddy was hardly able to work but he had fun. It is really hard for him to be in crowds and around strangers so Mummy and I were really proud of him, I think that it helped having good friends with him to keep him occupied.
I tidied up when we got home and we think that we found out what Beatie our boxer is allergic too, Cilit Bang for floors; I mopped up and her face ballooned, oups. Guess we won’t be buying that one again.
I then made Creme Brulee but I am not sure how it turned out. Mum said could have been better with little more vanilla.
Mum and Daddy both had a bath and I told her to try on my onesie, she had lost two stones and it fits her now. Go Mummy go Mummy.
If this weekend was anything to go by the horse shows are going to make a big bit of my Daddy come out of his shell. We are looking forward to seeing a farm in Dorset tomorrow, let's hope we move soon so we can all finish the year doing what we want to most, working with our horses, the charity and the veterans who are homeless.
Just to see if anyone actually reads my blogs I have had another light bulb moment and want to put a book together with poems, letters or stories about their family members who make their family special. All offers let me know.
