Life at home is really rather odd, Daddy is really really down but trying very hard to be happy. His temper is really short and he is snapping at everyone and everything. I think that is because he needs to have an operation, it has been draffing on for ages. I also know that he hates fireworks and winter but there is more to it than that.
Last weekend I went to a ploughing match and helped a lady that we knew. Thank you sooooooooo much Jane and Kevin and thank you Andy for putting up with me for the day.
I was working with Magnus and Toby and a ploughman called Andy. It was hard work and I ached all over but I loved every minute. Daddy came with us which was great but obviously he could not do anything though I am sure he would liked to have tried.
After a very long day we all went home absolutely shattered but I want to start ploughing with horses. I know that farmers have tractors now and I have been learning to drive our friends tractor, manitou and JCB around her farm, but there is something really cool about the horses.
On the Sunday I went back to the farm for a few days, I sometimes wonder if I am more of a pain in the butt than a help, but Alison never says anything.

We had a couple more litters of piglets whilst I was there, one sow seemed to spread her farrowing over a couple of days, that or she had hidden the piglets very well in the straw.
I came home on Wednesday but it takes me a few days to get used to not waking up to start feeding all the animals.
