Last week was a bit of a rollercoaster good and bad things, but that is the same for everyone.
Sunday we went to the yard did all the horses. When we finished we thought we would see how fast Effie can run so I let her chase after the truck with Mum calling her and then I called her back to me. Mum clocked her at about 38mph; so I don't think she won't embarrass me and be too slow when I enter her in the terrier racing at the Feastival of Hounds Show which is in Spring. I know it is for fun, but I thought she would just stand there staring while I called her. I did try sitting in the back of the truck with the boot open calling her, but I fell out the truck when Mum drove off, he he!. Then came home to do the house work and watched rugby from the day before, Mum dragged Daddy out of the house swimming and they both seemed to have fun.
Today wasn't much fun, my kidneys really hurt, so does my back and I feel awful. Debbie was going to send me home from school but I said I would be ok; wish I had gone home now feel terrible. Daddy said have a nice hot bath and keep warm, even though I am snuggled up in bed I feel ill.
Filled out my application for college, did loads of revision, fairly good week at school.
Saturday we went to Trimpley in the horse lorry and helped Alison build an orphan pen for the lambs, Dad got stuck in helping with the pen, feeding lambs and moving ewes and lambs from one barn to another. It was great to see my old Daddy back. I know that he was really hurting, his back ached, his knee was killing him but he kept going. Soooo proud of my Daddy, thank you for showing us you are still buried in the sad shell and you are trying to escape from this awful illness that grips you. We all love you so, so much and we do understand how hard things can be, but when we see that little spark of you it makes all the bad days disappear.
We talked about shows and what we need to get and wear for the show season with Alison then started talking about what shows and if we were staying. Daddy looking towards the future, again a good sign. Mum and Daddy were talking about getting a caravan for when we are doing fund raising events and shows, not bad idea even though I say so myself.
It is going to be a busy spring and summer for us as a family and for the charity, guess the holidays won't all be chillaxing in bed, lol.
